Memory lane sketch #11: FenHawke
Added 2022-08-12 21:00:04 +0000 UTCIn Dragon Age II, you can choose between three options when it comes to conversations and what you want your character to say. There's one kind, virtuous option, one forceful and sometimes mean option, and inexplicably, the third option is a witty, shit-eating idiot. I mostly move between the idiot options and the kind options, but like... In my heart, Hawke (the player character, the one with dark hair) is always talking outta their ass. You can play the game as a man or a woman, and tbh I mostly only ever play as the female option, but the first playthrough I did as the male Hawke, and I gotta pay my respects to that asshole with this 🙏💦
The other character is Fenris, a broody elf who's also the sweetest of hearts and if you don't keep him in check (aka take care of him and treat him well) he will fuck your whole life up. He's got a really fucking awful past, and the tattoos are laced with a magic substance that he can control and uses in fights (very cool mechanically, very sad in the story) AND I THOUGHT it'd be just a little funny,.,,,.., if they flared up at the introduction of a 🐔 to his 🍑.
