Back to winter!
Added 2025-03-04 01:46:22 +0000 UTCHi all, just a quick update from the boat. Well we finally have our winter weather back with temperatures hovering around -20C and a beautiful (but still not that warm) sunshine. We recently had some snow as well so the ground is not looking quite as bare.
The snowpack is quite thin but we've also had our first day of backcountry skiing now! We climbed one of the smaller nearby mountains and skied down in beautiful evening light.
We all were so happy, including Nova (she loves to run downhill FAST). Pretty incredible think that our previous backcountry skiing day was last year in Prince William Sound, Alaska, and similarly off the boat!
Hope you're all doing great and also having an awesome winter (or summer.. if you're in the southern hemisphere).
